Library
The Library is adjacent to the main reception, and is staffed by Mrs Thornton (a chartered librarian) and Mrs Bridgman. The Library welcomes all year groups and provides access to a wide range of resources and facilities including:
- Junior, teen and adult fiction
- Curriculum-related titles
- Leisure non-fiction titles
- Daily newspapers and a small collection of comics and magazines
- Scanning, printing and Photocopying
- A selection of stationery for purchase (we can only accept cash)
- 12 computers with access to the school network & internet
Membership
Students automatically become members of the library and can borrow up to six items for a period of up to three weeks.
We use the same biometric system as the canteen.
Members of staff are welcome to book the library during lessons and can do this through the School Booking System.
