Sussex Inspires Programme - Summer School, Subject Talks & Campus Visits

The below is from University of Sussex (Sussex Inspires Programme). They are advertising three key opportunities.
1. Summer School Places
Our Sussex Inspires Summer School is open to Year 12 students studying A Levels, BTECs, T Levels, or other Level 3 qualifications. They will:
- Experience university life on campus
- Study a subject of their choice with Sussex academics
- Complete a subject-based assignment with support
- Take part in careers sessions, workshops, and social activities
- Stay in university accommodation for two nights
If any of your students are interested, please encourage them to sign up to the Sussex Inspires Programme using this link: click here.
2. Subject Session Talks
A University of Sussex academic can visit your sixth form or college to deliver a subject-taster talk linked to the curriculum. Sessions last 1.5 hours and are supported by a Widening Participation team member and a Student Ambassador to offer insight into university life.
3. Campus Visits & In-College Workshops
We have a limited number of Year 12 campus visits available this spring/summer. If a visit isn’t possible, we offer in-college talks, including:
- Thinking About University
- Applying to University
- How to Pay for University
- Study Skills
- What to Expect on Results Day
