Emmanuel College's 'Thomas Young Physicists Programme' (named after the eminent scientist/polymath and alumnus of the College) is a brand new scheme for UK school students (state-maintained and independent) in Y10, Y11, or Y12 interested in subjects broadly falling under our Physical Natural Sciences Tripos.

Consisting of a short series of taster lectures in November 2024 as well as an introduction to studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge, participants will be able to meet academics, current undergraduates, and admissions staff as part of the Thomas Young Physicists Programme.

In addition to the online component, a small number of Y12 students, based on academic achievement and Widening Participation criteria, will be invited to attend a fully-funded in-person day visit to Emmanuel College in February 2025.
